Privacy Policy

SeekerPaint ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use the SeekerPaint mobile application ("App") available on the Solana Mobile Seeker device.

1. Information We Collect

We collect minimal information necessary to provide the App's functionality:

Wallet address: Your Solana public wallet address, used to attribute NFTs to your account and display your gallery. We never access your private keys.
NFT metadata: Painting titles, descriptions, and image data you choose to mint as NFTs. This data is stored on Cloudflare R2 and anchored to the Solana blockchain.
Usage data: Mint counts and streak data stored locally on your device via AsyncStorage.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any personally identifying information beyond your public wallet address.

2. How We Use Your Information

To process NFT minting transactions on the Solana blockchain
To display your NFT gallery fetched from Solana via Helius DAS API
To display your artist profile statistics (mint count, streak, token balance)
To store your painted artwork images on Cloudflare R2 for NFT metadata

3. Blockchain Transactions

When you mint an NFT, your transaction is recorded permanently on the Solana public blockchain. This includes your wallet address, the NFT metadata URI, and transaction details. This information is public and immutable by nature of blockchain technology. We have no ability to delete or modify on-chain records.

4. Private Keys and Wallet Security

SeekerPaint uses the Solana Mobile Seed Vault for transaction signing. Your private keys are stored securely in the Seeker device's hardware security module and are never transmitted to our servers or accessible by SeekerPaint. We only interact with your public wallet address.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the App:

Helius: Solana RPC and Digital Asset Standard (DAS) API for NFT minting and gallery fetching. See Helius Privacy Policy.
Cloudflare R2: Image storage for NFT artwork. See Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Solana Blockchain: Public, decentralized blockchain for NFT minting. All on-chain data is public.

6. Data Storage and Retention

NFT images uploaded to Cloudflare R2 are stored indefinitely as they are associated with permanent on-chain NFT records. Local device data (streak, preferences) remains on your device and can be cleared by uninstalling the App. We do not operate databases containing your personal information beyond what is required for NFT image hosting.

7. Children's Privacy

SeekerPaint is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your Rights

Since we collect minimal personal data, your primary rights relate to blockchain records (which are immutable) and NFT images stored on R2. You may contact us to request deletion of your NFT images from our storage, though this will not affect the on-chain NFT record.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
